I love blogs. I have around 20 on my favourites list that I check daily, but of course most don’t update anywhere enough for my liking. I enjoy two facets of them. The first, and primary aspect, is having an insight into like-minded individual’s lives.
I like being able to see when Chris of Beeoneoneoh gets a new set of wheels for his wee truck, or when the guys at C’s garage find a way to slam their S chassis’ even further. It’s inspiring to see other projects progressing, and keeps me amped on my own. It also highlights just how shit I have it in terms of the ability to do any major work myself, but that’s another story altogether. Seeing, in their own words, how someone with similar interests goes about performing seemingly mundane tasks is fun. Even their off-hand remarks about stops to a parts store or getting gas are interesting to me. I’m guessing it’s the same the world over? Maybe I’m a loser, both are likely.

Mr Beeoneoneoh with Mrs Beeoneoneoh. Possibly my favourite blog out there. Well laid out page, superb photos, awesome project and great coverage. Click ze links scattered around to get there and get in there.
The second aspect of blogs I find alluring is the base desire to see awesome shit. I am mildly infatuated with being different, whilst still being part of a trend, if that makes sense. The way I see it, is a trend develops from previous trends, and then sub-sets of trends develop outward, like a trees branches, reaching all parts of the community. I want to be part of one of those sub-groups, but the forefront.
Thereby, I love seeing where things are going, fashion and automotive in particular.
Anyone who has an interest in diminuitive older Japanese vehicles knows that small wheels are where it’s at. I believe offset is the real winner, as do the guys at HellaFlush. Having some full guards, horizontally that is, makes any vehicle look intensely sweet, in my view
This is what I’m talking about. I feel offset is key, others say dish. I like a small amount of dish, others want full face, while others say 5″ minimum. I like rolled lips, others adore bolt on flares. I say slam it as far as you can, others want driveability, lol. Thus, blogs are awesome, because they give such a diverse range of amazing stuff from many minds, but typically can be grouped into sub-trends. Which is perfect cos it means I have plenty of these sorts of pictures to make my eyes glaze over

God I love the internet
